The company, people and data on this page are samples. Nothing here is legal advice.

Your product ships every week. The law changes by circular, and nobody sends you a reminder.

Today, filings live in someone’s inbox, the rules are spread across several regulators, and every small question becomes a billable email. usejura’s AI keeps all of it in one register, and tells you when something changes.

Every deadline has a name on it.

Each obligation becomes a dated task with an owner and reminders before it’s due. Pick a day.

  2. A.Probably, yes. You handle personal data for about 12,000 users, which puts you above the threshold for a data controller of major importance1. Registration is with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission2. Ada Okafor already owns this in your register3.
  3. Q.Can we hold customer funds without a licence?
  4. A.Not verifiedI couldn’t ground an answer in a source I trust, so I won’t guess. This one is for counsel. I’ve added it to your register as OB-013.

Terms we hold ourselves to.

AI in law has to be checkable. These are the rules usejura’s AI works by.

  1. 1.1

    Every answer cites its source.

You see the statute, circular or clause behind each answer, so you can check it yourself.

  2. 1.2

If we can’t ground it, we say “Not verified”.

No confident guesses. You’re pointed to counsel instead.

  3. 1.3

A lawyer signs off every rule.

Before launch, a qualified Nigerian lawyer will review each rule, and every rule will show when it was last verified.

  4. 1.4

Nothing is filed on your behalf.

The AI drafts, flags and reminds. A person always decides and submits.

Fair questions.

What does the AI actually do?

It reads Nigerian financial law and your own documents, works out which obligations apply to you, reviews and drafts contracts, and answers questions with sources. Lawyer-reviewed rules sit underneath it, and it says “Not verified” when it can’t ground an answer.

Is usejura legal advice?

No. usejura is software that gives legal information with sources. It is not a law firm and does not replace a lawyer for important or contested matters.

Will it file things with regulators for us?

No. It drafts, flags and reminds. A person always reviews and submits.

Where do the answers come from?

From a curated library of Nigerian financial law and from your own documents. Each answer shows its sources, and says “Not verified” when it can’t find one.

Do we need a lawyer to use it?

No. Teams without a lawyer can rely on the defaults. If you have a legal team, they can review and override anything.

Does it run KYC or AML checks?

No. usejura covers the law side: what is required, deadlines, documents and contracts. Identity checks and screening stay with your existing providers.

What does it cost?

Joining the waitlist is free. Pricing isn’t set yet, and early teams will help shape it.
